The Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa organized this Wednesday, July 9, the Conference on Social Networks for Digital Kit, a conference focused on bringing SMEs and freelancers closer to the benefits of professional social media management within the business digitalization process.
The event, framed within the Oficinas Acelera Pyme program for Kit Digital, allowed attendees to understand the key role that social networks play in the visibility, reputation and growth of local businesses, in addition to learning how they can take advantage of Kit Digital aid to incorporate these solutions.
The conference was opened by the vice president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Carmen Martinón, who highlighted the importance of social networks as a strategic tool in the digital transformation of companies.
She also stressed the need to train and accompany SMEs in the digital modernization process so that they can remain competitive in an increasingly connected market.

Keys to boost your business
The conference included the participation of Álvaro Luis Hernández Plasencia, co-founder of the digital creators agency Isla Influencia, who offered a dynamic and practical presentation on social networks, public relations and digital protocol.
During his speech, Hernández Plasencia shared keys on how companies can use social networks not only as communication channels, but as true positioning platforms, generating trust and attracting customers.
Through real examples and applicable advice, he showed how to turn a digital presence into tangible results.
The day included a networking space where attendees could exchange ideas, concerns and contacts with the speaker and other local professionals.
The Oficinas Acelera pyme for Kit Digital launched by Red.es, a public entity attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Function, through the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, with the collaboration of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, aim to promote the digital transformation of small and medium-sized companies, micro-enterprises and the self-employed.
The actions are financed by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan through NextGenerationEU funds, within the framework of the Spain Digital 2026 agenda and the SME Digitalization Plan 2021-2025.
