The Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of the Cabildo de Lanzarote received 395,536 visitors during the recently ended month of August, which represents an increase of 11.01% compared to July, the month in which 356,317 people enjoyed the work of César Manrique. August thus becomes the month with the highest influx of visitors to the Centers during a year, this 2023, in which they have received a total of 2,380,024 visitors since January 1.
The Mountains of Fire exceeded the barrier of 100,000 visits during the past month, and with 106,436 they broke the record for attendance at any of the Tourist Centers during this year. Consolidated, therefore, as one of the most attractive and interesting points of the Lanzarote destination, "it is now a matter of rationalizing this flow of people to transform the visit and generate a memorable experience," said the councilor, Ángel Vázquez.
Jameos del Agua, for its part, received a total of 102,606 people. Completing this particular ranking is the Cueva de los Verdes, with 71,224 visitors received during the past month.
