Commitment to sustainability

Also last year, the company reached a new milestone in its commitment to environmental sustainability and the development of initiatives that minimize the impact of its activity on the environment.

Its 'In Harmony with the Sea' project encompasses and evaluates the scope of the more than 70 initiatives it develops, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Canary Islands Sustainable Development Agenda 2030.

The project recently obtained the 'Good Management Practices for Sustainable Development' award from the Cabildo de Tenerife in the large company category.

The sustainability measures that the company carries out are oriented both to onboard services and to the innovation and improvement of all its processes. They also include awareness and citizen participation actions such as talks, workshops or beach and coastline cleaning actions, through which the involvement of more than 550 volunteers has been achieved, who have collected nearly 1,000 kilos of waste.
