The Lanzarote native Antonio "Toni" Orosa, Premio Turismo Arrecife 2025, has passed away in the early hours of this Friday in Lanzarote at 74 years of age.

His artistic and cultural career was distinguished last year, since for decades he has been linked to the patron saint festivities of San Ginés and to the promotion of Lanzarote in international fairs and events. His work made him a true ambassador of the island.

Furthermore, Orosa was an employee of the Patronato de Turismo de Lanzarote and his passion for local culture led him to organize the Miss Lanzarote galas for decades.

Still is unknown the funeral home in which his body will be watched over.
