Inflation in the Canary Islands archipelago moderated slightly in November compared to the previous month, going from 7% in October to 6.9% in November, thanks to the reduction in the price of electricity and fuel.
Nationally, the drop has been more significant, moderating from 7.3% recorded in October to 6.8% in November.
The decrease has been greater in Spain as a whole due to the fall in prices related to housing, including energy, which decreased its variation by more than one and a half points, to 1%, and transport, which placed its rate at 7.7%, more than one point lower than the previous month, due to the reduction in the price of fuel and lubricants, which became more expensive in the same month of 2021.
The annual variation rate of core inflation - index excluding unprocessed food and energy products - is also confirmed, standing at 6.3%, one tenth more than that recorded in October and only five tenths less than the general CPI.
