The airline Iberia Express has reinforced connections between Lanzarote and Madrid for Christmas with 36 additional flights, which means a total of up to four daily flights in each direction and almost 28,500 seats.

For the Canary Islands as a whole, there are 228 extra flights in total, 22% more than initially planned for these dates, and 15% more seats compared to Christmas 2022.

The company has indicated that of these 228 flights, ten will operate at night - less congested - and, specifically, on December 22, 23, 26 and January 7 so that, on these dates, customers have more flight options and at more affordable prices.

"Our purpose is always to try to incorporate more capacity at times of increased demand, to facilitate the connectivity of residents with more accessible fares," said the commercial director of Iberia Express.
