The average price of gasoline 95 in Lanzarote at the end of 2022 was 1.416 euros, 14.1% cheaper than during the month of June, which broke all records and whose price reached 1.648 euros.
The price of gasoline 95 fell since then for six consecutive months. However, it is still 15.7% more expensive than at the end of 2021.
For its part, the price of gasoline 98 in Lanzarote ended 2022 at 1.516 euros, 13.6% cheaper than it cost in June, when it reached a maximum of 1.754 euros per liter.
This fuel has also experienced six months of declines, but remains 16.1% more expensive than at the close of 2021.
The price of diesel has also decreased since June, when it reached 1.638 euros per liter, although more moderately, by 9.4% to reach 1.481 euros at the end of 2022.
Its behavior has been more irregular, since in the last semester it fell in July, August and September, rebounded in October, and fell again in November and December.
However, diesel is still 28.8% more expensive than in December 2021.
The PCAN of Tías is the cheapest
The PCAN gas station in Tías is the cheapest in Lanzarote for all fuels. Gasoline 95 is found there at 1.298 euros per liter, while gasoline 98 costs 1.412 euros per liter. Diesel is sold at 1.379 euros per liter.
The second best price in gasoline 95 is found at the Marina Rubicón gas station, where the liter costs 1.308 euros. The third position is occupied by the SPL establishment in Tías. There, the liter costs 1.329 euros.
To refuel gasoline 98, the second best price, after the PCAN of Tías, is found in Combustibles Canarios on the road that connects Arrecife with Yaiza. There, the liter is at 1.419 euros. The third position is occupied by the PCAN of Arrieta where the liter is sold at 1.429 euros.
As for diesel, the second most economical establishment is the SPL gas station in Tías, which sells it at 1.379 euros. The third best price for diesel on the island is that of Combustibles Canarios on the road that connects Arrecife with Yaiza, where it costs 1.389 euros per liter.
The Texaco of Haría, the most expensive
The Texaco gas station in Haría is the most expensive on the island for all fuels. The liter of gasoline 95 costs 1.475 euros there, gasoline 98 is sold at 1.558 euros per liter, and diesel at 1.527.
The second and third most expensive gas stations on the island both for acquiring gasoline 95 as well as diesel are from Disa. In the one on the Arrecife ring road, gasoline 95 costs 1.454 euros, while diesel is sold at 1.509 euros per liter. At the Disa on Campo de Golf avenue, in Costa Teguise, gasoline 95 is found for 1.444 euros and the liter of diesel for 1.499.
With respect to gasoline 98, the second most expensive establishment is that of Shell on Blas Cabrera Street in Arrecife, where it is sold at 1.554 euros. The third highest price on the island, 1.533 euros per liter, is found at the Disa on the ring road of the capital.
