Canary Islands Trade Unionists gathered this Thursday in front of the THB Flora Hotel in Puerto del Carmen to denounce a "harassment" campaign against its members. "The reasons that have provoked this act have been the intransigent and anti-union stance of this company, in not recognizing the legally constituted trade union section in this workplace and launching a campaign of harassment and intimidation against our members, proceeding to make changes in working hours by applying split shifts as a method of retaliation," the union said.

For the trade union organization, "this attitude is increasingly common among employers in the hospitality sector, who lack a democratic culture and respect for the rights of workers, especially with unions that do not submit to them, violating trade union rights."

The concentration was attended by Las Kellys of Lanzarote, who are thanked for their work in "defense of the exploited and exploited and the most precarious workers."
