The German car manufacturer, BMW, has chosen the volcanic landscapes of Lanzarote for the official presentation of its new sports car. BMW i8 Roaster, a plug-in hybrid that is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km in just 4.6 seconds.
For the photographs and videos of the promotion, the section of road that goes from the Salinas de Janubio and the Charco de los Clicos, in the municipality of Yaiza, was used, which had to be closed to traffic for the filming of the spot.
