Between January and November, flights between Lanzarote and La Palma carried 41% fewer passengers than during the same period in 2024.
The data comes from the Canary Islands Institute of Statistics (ISTAC) and was provided by the Lanzarote Data Center.
In total, there have been **9,451 passengers** between Lanzarote and La Palma, **compared to 16,090** travelers last year. The main reason is the **cancellation of Binter flights for most of the spring and autumn**, which had been available last year.
Total inter-island traffic originating from or destined for Lanzarote increased by 1.5%, from 1.24 million passengers in 2024 to 1.26 million in the current year.
Traffic increased more with Tenerife (+2.8%) than with Gran Canaria (+1.6%). A total of 458,700 people traveled by direct flight between Lanzarote and Tenerife, while the figure for Gran Canaria was 792,719 passengers.
So far in 2025, there have also been some flights from Lanzarote to Fuerteventura with 676 passengers. Last year there were none
