Thirteen companies from Lanzarote have participated in the “Companies in Motion” Program of Business Reconstruction of the Chamber of Commerce and La Graciosa.
The program consists of a series of individual mentorships to analyze the situation of the business, look for tools and implement an action plan designed between the company and the consultants specialized in the different areas of business management.
The participating companies belong to very different sectors, with a special presence this year for artists and creators: fashion, jewelry, bag and accessory designers, as well as the provision of tourist management, construction, health consulting, event production, and specialized retail services, including gourmet gastronomy. Specifically, these are Nanni Jewelry, Oswaldo Machín, Angie Vásquez, María Cao, Dtata Mercería y Encaje, Irimar, Varietal Sibarita, Jable Construcciones, Natalia Aimetta, Karen Márquez, Ubai Tamarán Alemán, Gestión Turística y Vacaciones and Nubecitas de ilusión.
After the program, the companies have collected their diagnoses which include the analysis and the action plan to be carried out in the coming months.
Its purpose is to help already consolidated companies, with a certain trajectory, to face the new horizon of uncertainty, complexity, volatility and ambiguity of the current ecosystem in which businesses operate. A changing environment in which it is necessary to position oneself to grow, but to achieve this, it is first necessary to accept the scenario. The thirteen companies participating in this third edition are aware of the situation, which is why they have taken a step forward to adapt to the new reality, improve and even reinvent themselves if necessary.
For the president of the Chamber, José Valle, it is noteworthy “the courage and effort it takes for companies to get involved in a program that involves stepping out of the day to thoroughly analyze the business and face the possible changes that arise from that work. Leaving that comfort zone is important to ensure the success of businesses in such a changing environment”.
