Conforama, a multinational furniture company, officially inaugurated its facilities with an event held this Thursday, November 3, which was attended by its main executives, staff and collaborators, accompanied by the deputy mayor of San Bartolomé, Alexis Tejera. On behalf of the French multinational, its president Alexandre Nodale, general manager David Almeida and Javier Gallardo, director of the Lanzarote store, attended the event.
The Lanzarote store represents the fifth opening of Conforama in the Canary Islands, together with the establishments opened in Tenerife (La Laguna, La Orotava and Las Chafiras) and Gran Canaria (Arinaga). In Lanzarote, its new store is located in the building that housed Megacentro, next to the entrance to the industrial area of Playa Honda. It has a sales area of 3,733 square meters and will employ 60 people.
Conforama, with nearly 300 stores in Europe, has 30 establishments in Spain and aims to reach half a hundred once the expansion plan in which they are immersed is completed.
