The Canary Islands have added this Tuesday 346 new cases of coronavirus, with a total of 5,306 active cases, of which 37 are admitted to the ICU and 219 remain hospitalized. In addition, in the last hours the death of two men in Tenerife, aged 58 and 65, has been reported. Both suffered from previous pathologies and were in hospital admission, according to the Ministry of Health.
The accumulated incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 119.99 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 220.96 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 121 cases and has a total of 2,174 epidemiologically active cases; while Gran Canaria has 157 more than the previous day and 2,282 active. Lanzarote adds 21 new cases, with 207 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 44 new cases, and 535 active; and La Palma adds three new positives, so it has 89 active.
For its part, El Hierro and La Gomera have not registered positives in the last day, so the first only has one active case and the second 18.
Until this Tuesday, a total of 2,450,198 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 4,507 correspond to Monday.
