The National Police incorporates 12 new agents in Lanzarote

In total, the workforce in the Canary Islands increases by 213 agents who will begin to provide service immediately

The Superior Headquarters of the Police of the Canary Islands reinforces its staff with the recent incorporation of 213 agents belonging to the sub-inspection and basic scales, a total of 115 in the province of Las Palmas and 98 in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The sub-inspectors, police officers and police officers who begin to provide service immediately, will do so in the provincial, local and district police stations, integrating with the rest of the national police officers assigned to the different units.

The agents who join the capital of Gran Canaria have been received today at the headquarters of the Superior Headquarters of the Canary Islands by the Superior Chief, Jesús María Gómez Martín, and the commissioner, Provincial Chief of Las Palmas, Francisco Javier Berzal Tejero.

The largest staff increases will take place in the provincial capitals, specifically in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with 63 agents and in Santa Cruz de Tenerife with 53.

The rest of the agents assigned to the province of Las Palmas will join the local police stations of Arrecife (12), Puerto del Rosario (11), Maspalomas (19) and Telde (10).

In relation to the province of Sta. Cruz de Tenerife, the distribution will be made in the local police stations of La Laguna (15), Puerto de la Cruz (4), South of Tenerife (17), Tenerife South airport (4) and in Stanta Cruz de La Palma (5).
