The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands reports 101 new cases of coronavirus this Monday. The total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 96,706 with 889 active, of which 20 are admitted to the ICU and 66 remain hospitalized.
In the last hours there has been the death of a 93-year-old man in Tenerife, who suffered from previous pathologies and remained hospitalized.
The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 25.51 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 42.33 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 46 cases with a total of 369 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 43 more than the previous day and 372 active. Lanzarote adds nine new cases and 81 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has two new cases, and 60 active. La Palma does not add new cases and has three active cases; El Hierro does not register new positives, so it has one active. For its part, La Gomera adds one case, so its assets are three.
Until this Monday, a total of 2,229,299 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 2,308 correspond to Sunday.
