The Canary Islands adds this Friday 1,476 new cases of coronavirus. In addition, in the last hours the death of eleven people between the ages of 65 and 95 has been reported. Of the total number of deaths, six were registered in Tenerife, four in Gran Canaria and one in Lanzarote. All had previous pathologies and were in hospital.
Until this Friday, a total of 3,125,015 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 7,605 correspond to Thursday.
The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 333.19 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 943.86 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 657 cases with a total of 48,597 cases that are epidemiologically active; Gran Canaria has 548 more than the previous day, 44,659 active. Lanzarote adds 50 new cases with 2,915 epidemiologically active. Fuerteventura has 90 new cases and 6,701 active. La Palma adds 81 new positives, so it has 645 active. El Hierro adds 32 new positives, so it has 124 active cases and La Gomera adds 18 new cases, so its assets are 92.
The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 262,254 with 103,733 active, of which 83 are admitted to the ICU and 589 remain hospitalized.
