Canary Islands registers 96 cases of Covid and two more deaths in the last 24 hours

The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 21.78 cases per 100,000 inhabitants

The Canary Islands added 96 new cases of coronavirus this Friday. The total of accumulated cases in the archipelago is 96,460, with 782 active, of which 19 are admitted to the ICU and 71 remain hospitalized.

In the last hours there have been two deaths in Tenerife: a 92-year-old male and an 81-year-old female, who suffered from previous pathologies and remained in hospital.

The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 21.78 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 38.14 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife adds 48 cases with a total of 327 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 30 more than the previous day and 300 active. Lanzarote adds 10 new cases with 89 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has five more cases than the previous day and 62 active. La Palma has one new case and has one active case; El Hierro does not register new cases, remaining with one active. For its part, La Gomera, after many days without active cases, adds two new cases.

Until Friday, a total of 2,219,574 PCR tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 3,931 correspond to Thursday.
