The Canary Islands has registered 77 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, so the total accumulated in the archipelago amounts to 93,440, while the deaths rise to 957 after adding one death in Tenerife, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
Of the total cases, 6,076 are active (-81), of which 53 are admitted to the ICU (-5), 252 remain hospitalized (-5) and 5,771 are in their homes (-71). In addition, 157 people have been discharged from hospital in the last few hours, so that 86,407 Canarians have overcome the disease so far in the pandemic.
As for the Cumulative Incidence (IA) at seven days in the Canary Islands, it drops to 33.69 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the IA at 14 days decreases to 79.96 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Meanwhile, a total of 2,055,120 PCR tests have been carried out in the islands --2,924 in the last 24 hours--, of which 122,196 were positive, which represents 5.95 percent.
By islands, Tenerife adds 20 positives, accumulating 44,841 cases, of which 2,115 are epidemiologically active, 545 have died (+1) and 42,181 have overcome the disease; Gran Canaria has 35,754 accumulated (+36), of which 3,659 are active, 325 have died and 31,780 have been discharged from hospital.
For its part, Lanzarote adds one positive, with 6,668 accumulated, of which 48 are active, while it has registered 51 deaths and 6,570 have overcome the disease; and Fuerteventura has 4,234 accumulated cases (+19), of which 245 are active, 17 have died and 3,972 have been discharged from hospital.
La Palma adds one case in the last day, so it has 1,089 accumulated, of which eight are active, 15 have died and 1,066 have been discharged from hospital.
Finally, El Hierro has an accumulated of 452 by not reporting contagions, of which six are active, four have died and 442 have overcome the disease; while La Gomera accumulates 401 cases (without variation), of which five are active, one has died and 395 have been discharged from hospital.
