Canary Islands registers 31 cases of Covid and a new death

The deceased was a 72-year-old woman and resided on the island of La Palma

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has reported this Sunday 31 new cases of coronavirus. The total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 95,658, with 896 active, of which 26 are admitted to the ICU and 95 remain hospitalized.

In the last hours there has been a death of a 72-year-old woman in La Palma, who suffered from previous pathologies and remained admitted to the hospital.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands is 16.82 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days in 41.59 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife adds this Sunday 9 cases, Gran Canaria 18, Fuerteventura 3 and Lanzarote one, while La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro have not reported any.
