Canary Islands adds another 5 deaths from Covid and registers 1,312 new positives

The Archipelago currently has 105,512 active cases, of which 78 are admitted to the ICU

The Canary Islands adds this Thursday a total of 1,312 new cases of coronavirus. In the last hours the death of five people in Gran Canaria between the ages of 81 and 91 has been reported, all of them had previous pathologies and were in hospital.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 273.95 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 648.54 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

Until this Thursday, a total of 3,161,528 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 7,361 correspond to Wednesday.

By islands, Tenerife adds 583 cases with a total of 49,228 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 477 more than the previous day and 46,561 active. Lanzarote adds 65 new cases with 1,931 epidemiologically active. Fuerteventura has 97 new cases and 7,108 active. La Palma adds 68 new positives, bringing the total to 508 active. El Hierro adds 11 new positives with 85 active cases and La Gomera adds 11 new cases, bringing its assets to 121.

The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 268,559 with 105,542 active, of which 78 are admitted to the ICU and 528 remain hospitalized.
