The Canary Islands has registered 99 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, so the total accumulated in the archipelago rises to 94,423, while the deaths are at 976 after adding one death in Gran Canaria in the last day, according to data from the Ministry of Health of the Canary Islands Government.
Thus, of the total cases, 2,892 are active (-579), of which 45 are admitted to the ICU, 217 remain hospitalized (-6) and 2,630 are in their homes (-573). In addition, 90,555 people have overcome the disease so far in the archipelago after 677 people were discharged from the hospital in the last hours.
Regarding the Cumulative Incidence (IA) at 7 days in the Canary Islands, it stands at 28.95 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the IA at 14 days is at 64.48 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Also, a total of 2,097,398 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 123,869 were positive, which represents 5.91 percent.
By islands, Tenerife adds 40 positives, accumulating 45,208 cases, of which 1,174 are epidemiologically active (-9), 558 have died and 43,476 have overcome the disease; Gran Canaria has 36,110 accumulated (+31), of which 1,479 are active (-487), 330 have died (+1) and 34,301 have been discharged from the hospital.
For its part, Lanzarote adds 13 positives, with 6,784 accumulated, of which 102 are active (+11), while it has registered 51 deaths and 6,632 have overcome the disease; Fuerteventura has 4,370 accumulated cases (+15), of which 126 are active (-94), 17 have died and 4,227 have been discharged from the hospital; and La Palma remains with 1,092 accumulated, of which four remain active, 16 have died and 1,072 have been discharged from the hospital.
Finally, El Hierro remains with an accumulated of 455, of which four are active, four have died and 447 have overcome the disease; while La Gomera accumulates 402 cases, of which two are active, one has died and 399 have been discharged from the hospital.
