Canary Islands adds 94 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands reports this Friday 94 new cases of coronavirus. The total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 97,083 with 967 active, of which 15 are admitted to the ICU and 81 remain hospitalized. In the last hours, no deaths have been registered in the Canary Islands linked to the coronavirus.

The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 28.31 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 48.48 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife adds 37 cases with a total of 447 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 34 more than the previous day and 358 active. Lanzarote adds 14 new cases with 62 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has five new cases and 75 active. La Palma adds a new case, so it has 18 active, while El Hierro, with a new case, has two active. La Gomera, which reports two new positives, has five active.

Until this Friday, a total of 2,247,238 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 3,611 correspond to Thursday.
