Canary Islands adds 71 new cases of Covid in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has reported 71 new cases of coronavirus in the last day. The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 95,729, with 903 active, of which 26 are admitted to the ICU and 99 remain hospitalized.

In the last hours there have been no deaths linked to the coronavirus in the archipelago.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 17.10 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 41.09 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife adds 31 cases with a total of 464 cases that are epidemiologically active; Gran Canaria has 33 more than the previous day and 240 active cases. Lanzarote adds four new cases and 73 epidemiologically active cases; Fuerteventura has three new cases and 117 active cases. La Palma does not add new cases and has four active cases; El Hierro does not register new positives, so its assets are five. For its part, La Gomera does not add cases, so it remains without active cases.

The Canary Islands has carried out a total of 2,175,281 diagnostic tests in the Islands, of which 2,027 correspond to Sunday.
