The Canary Islands added this Thursday 275 new cases of coronavirus. The total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 99,983 with 2,069 active, of which 23 are admitted to the ICU and 152 remain hospitalized. In addition, in the last hours the death of two people in the Canary Islands has been reported, an 85-year-old woman in Gran Canaria and a 60-year-old man in Fuerteventura. Both were in hospital and the first one suffered from previous pathologies.
The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 64.94 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 110.11 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 97 cases with a total of 942 cases that are epidemiologically active; Gran Canaria has 123 more than the previous day and 791 active cases. Lanzarote adds 23 new cases with 117 epidemiologically active cases; Fuerteventura has 26 new cases, and 179 active cases. La Palma adds six new positives, so it has 23 active cases. El Hierro does not add new positives, so its assets are two. La Gomera does not add new cases either, so it has 15 active cases.
Until this Thursday, a total of 2,331,530 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 6,483 correspond to Wednesday.
