Canary Islands adds 202 positives and one death in the last 24 hours

Regarding the Cumulative Incidence (IA) in the Canary Islands, at 7 days it rises to 67.51 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days to 127.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

The Canary Islands has added 202 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, so the total accumulated in the archipelago now rises to 48,943, while deaths reach 692 after the death of a 66-year-old woman in Tenerife who remained admitted to the hospital and suffered from previous pathologies, according to data provided by the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands after 2:00 p.m.

Thus, of the total accumulated cases in the Canary Islands, 4,448 are active (+119), of which 78 are admitted to the ICU (no variation), 316 remain hospitalized (-3) and 4,174 are at home (+122). Likewise, 43,684 people have overcome the disease (+82).

Regarding the Cumulative Incidence (IA) in the Canary Islands, at 7 days it rises to 67.51 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days to 127.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. In addition, so far a total of 990,699 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, --3,825 in the last day-- of which 52,718 have been positive, which represents 5.32 percent.

By islands, Tenerife accumulates 20,697 cases (+83), of which 2,365 are epidemiologically active, 385 have died (+1) and 17,947 have overcome the disease; while Gran Canaria has 20,366 accumulated cases (+86), of which 1,879 are active, 237 have died and 18,250 have been discharged from hospital.

Likewise, Lanzarote accumulates 4,727 cases (+18), of which 103 are epidemiologically active, 48 have died and 4,576 have overcome the disease; and Fuerteventura accumulates 2,135 cases (+10), of which 197 are active, 11 have died and 1,927 have been discharged from hospital.

La Palma, for its part, accumulates 490 cases (+4), of which 19 remain active, six have died and 465 have overcome the disease; El Hierro remains with 301 cases, of which one is active, in addition, it has had to regret four deaths during the pandemic, while 296 have been discharged.

And La Gomera accumulates 226 cases (+1), of which two are active, has one deceased and 223 have overcome the virus.
