The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands registers this Tuesday 194 new cases of coronavirus. The total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 98,207 with 1,446 active, of which 20 are admitted to the ICU and 133 remain hospitalized. In the last hours, the death of a 52-year-old man in Gran Canaria has been reported, who suffered from previous pathologies and remained in hospital admission.
The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 37.91 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 64.62 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 90 cases with a total of 664 cases that are epidemiologically active; Gran Canaria has 66 more than the previous day and 571 active cases. Lanzarote adds 18 new cases with 65 epidemiologically active cases; Fuerteventura has 17 new cases and 104 active cases. La Palma does not register new positives, so it has 26 active cases, while El Hierro, without new cases, remains at one active case. La Gomera reports three new positives, so it has 15 active cases.
Until this Tuesday, a total of 2,284,343 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 4,434 correspond to Monday.
