The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands reports this Monday 191 new cases of COVID-19. The total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 100,915 with 2,498 active, of which 22 are admitted to the ICU and 181 remain hospitalized. In the last hours the death of a 93-year-old woman in Gran Canaria has been reported, who suffered from previous pathologies and was in hospital.
The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 75 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 131.16 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 80 cases with a total of 1,139 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 76 more than the previous day and 956 active. Lanzarote adds 14 new cases with 153 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 18 new cases, and 206 active. La Palma adds three new positives, bringing its total to 31 active. El Hierro does not add new positives, so its assets are two. La Gomera, without new cases, remains with eleven active.
As of this Monday, a total of 2,351,412 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 3,394 correspond to Sunday.
