The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands registers this Monday 175 new cases of coronavirus. The total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 99,232 with 1,773 active, of which 21 are admitted to the ICU and 140 remain hospitalized. In the last hours, the death of a person in Gran Canaria has been reported, which is pending validation by Public Health.
The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 53.91 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 88.01 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 99 cases with a total of 815 cases that are epidemiologically active; Gran Canaria has 43 more than the previous day and 637 active. Lanzarote adds 14 new cases with 97 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 13 more cases than the previous day and 182 active. La Palma has six new positives and has 21 active cases; El Hierro does not register new cases, remaining at one active. For its part, La Gomera remains with 20 assets.
Until this Monday, a total of 2,312,290 PCR tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 3,319 correspond to Sunday.
