The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands reports this Friday 163 new cases of coronavirus in the Archipelago. The total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 97,726 with 1,224 active, of which 17 are admitted to the ICU and 104 remain hospitalized. In the last hours no deaths from COVID-19 have been registered in the Canary Islands.
The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 28.86 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 58 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 52 cases with a total of 545 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 79 more than the previous day and 498 active. Lanzarote adds twelve new cases and 59 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 14 new cases, and 80 active. La Palma adds three new positives, so it has 33 active, while El Hierro, without new cases, remains with two active. La Gomera, reports three new positives, so its assets are seven.
Until this Friday, a total of 2,270,873 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 3,945 correspond to Thursday.
