Canary Islands adds 1,314 new positives of Covid and three deaths

The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 237.55 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 543.90 cases

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands reports 1,314 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus. The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 272,938 with 17,858 active, of which 66 are admitted to the ICU and 483 remain hospitalized. In the last hours, the death of three people has been reported, two in Tenerife and one in Fuerteventura, aged between 70 and 79 years. All presented previous pathologies and were in hospital admission.

By islands, Tenerife adds 584 cases with a total of 126,366 accumulated cases and 6,857 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 101,562 accumulated cases, 498 more than the previous day, and 8,738 active. Lanzarote adds 56 new cases with 18,977 accumulated and 408 epidemiologically active. Fuerteventura has 13,566 accumulated cases, with 85 new cases and 1,336 active. La Palma adds 78 new positives, so it has 9,129 accumulated and 391 active. El Hierro adds eight new positives, so its accumulated are 1,696 and has 35 active cases and La Gomera adds five new cases, so it has 1,642 accumulated and its assets are 93.

Until this Tuesday, a total of 3,188,981 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 7,250 correspond to the previous day.
