Complaint about an "endless journey" of 20 hours between Barcelona and Lanzarote

An airplane of the airline company Vueling departed at 4.35 p.m. this Sunday from Barcelona to Lanzarote. However, the journey ended with all the travelers in Fuerteventura and without a way to get to the Island of Volcanoes. "They warned us on the loudspeaker 20 minutes before landing", Fernando tells La Voz.

As this editorial staff has been able to confirm, this journey was diverted from Barcelona to Fuerteventura. The text issued by Vueling Airlines, when the passengers were already on their way to the Canary Islands, stated that flight VY2475 would not operate, so "the best alternative" would be offered. Fernando spent the night on the neighboring island, where the operator transferred him to a hotel. However, he complains that they did not offer him "any food or drink" and that they did not offer him advice on how to file a claim. "The worst thing is that there were no coherent explanations", he told La Voz.

According to his testimony, the airline offered passengers a new boarding pass for a trip departing around 11.30 a.m. on October 30 from Fuerteventura to Lanzarote. 20 hours later the customers arrived in Lanzarote. The flight landed around 12.00 this Monday in Lanzarote.

Once on the island, the travelers resounded a loud applause in a sign of celebration after almost a whole day of travel.
