Following the public announcement last week of the closure of the primary and secondary courses of the Colegio Europeo Daos in Puerto del Carmen, the parents of the students who have been enrolled in this private center for years are demanding "the money for enrollment" which, according to one of the mothers to La Voz, "they have charged us knowing that the primary and secondary courses were not going to be taught."
"I paid the enrollment fee, I have requested the refund in writing and they have not returned anything yet," she complains. "I have been claiming the money since July, since the 28th, when it was officially communicated to the parents," she assures. Although, "I am not among the notified families," she adds.
"I decided to take my son out of the school because of the rumors about its closure," she points out. "I was not going to claim, but upon learning of the definitive closure, I have brought it to the attention of the center," she affirms.
They even went to the school to talk to her. "My partner went to the center and in the secretary's office they told us that the director had given the order not to return the enrollment fee to anyone," she acknowledges. Furthermore, she relates that she maintains that she communicated the closure: "she says that she communicated it a year ago, but that is not true, we found out last month."

"There are many parents who have not yet been paid and who have also claimed," she assures. Her son has been enrolled in the school since he was five months old and would now be in sixth grade, one more reason for the mother to be outraged by the school's actions. "I am going to report them, I am very clear about that," she affirms emphatically.
