A reader has sent several photographs to La Voz to report that last Saturday, around 11:00 a.m., a cardboard container "was overflowing" in front of Calle Real, near the taxi rank, in Ramírez Cerdá Park. "And it stays like that until Monday, because it is not collected on Saturdays," he pointed out.
"If the garbage is not collected on Saturday, where do I leave the cardboard that I have to throw away?" this neighbor asked, who assured that if he leaves it next to the container, the material will end up in the urban waste deposit.
This neighbor looked for another container in the surroundings but it was also "full". "If they know from the Cabildo that people are more aware of recycling, why don't they increase the frequency of emptying the containers?", questions this reader, who wonders what will happen when the shops on Calle Real open on Saturday afternoons.
