"In this last month it is impossible to get taxis for customers." This is the complaint of a hotel worker in the south of Lanzarote, who wanted to denounce this situation through La Voz de Lanzarote.

"You call the switchboard and it is busy and when you get a line you stay on hold for at least 10 minutes," says this woman, who says that when she finally manages to get them to answer the call, the taxis "take five minutes to arrive."

This hotel worker does not understand that "taxis do not already have a free Internet application where users can book their taxi and make this service more fluid." "It is an investment for the future but they are still anchored in the past. If we can order food through an application, how can't we order a taxi?", she questions.
