Unión Sur Yaiza stood up to the leader of Group V of the Second Federation, and two balls that crashed into the crossbar prevented the southerners from scoring in their visit to CD Guadalajara. The goal conceded in the middle of the first half did not make the team trained by Emilio Ferreras give up, eagerly seeking an equalizing goal that never came.

The intensity was notable from the start of the match, and Unión Sur Yaiza starred in several chances in the first minutes. Marco Siverio tried his luck by taking advantage of an assist from Malick, with the shot going wide. Guadalajara responded with an action by Julio Martínez, with Nauzet Pérez responding well to prevent the goal.

The pressure from CD Guadalajara resulted in a goal in the 23rd minute, with Cañizo taking advantage of a pass between the lines to beat Nauzet. Unión Sur Yaiza did not collapse with the goal conceded, with Jordan heading a cross from Emiliano Trovento from the right, and the ball hitting the crossbar.

Unión Sur Yaiza generated danger from set pieces in the first minutes of the second half, with Enrique Castaño executing a foul from Zarco sent to a corner kick. The southerners suffered a setback in the 20th minute of the restart, with goalkeeper Nauzet Pérez having to be substituted due to injury.

Unión Sur Yaiza once again hit another ball against the crossbar of CD Guadalajara. After a corner kick executed by Castaño, Facu headed and the ball was repelled by the crossbar. Before the end of the match, the visitors, the southerners, generated a new chance, with Nuha almost surprising Zarco.

With the 1-0 score, the match came to an end, with Unión Sur Yaiza leaving with the feeling of having stood up to the leader of the category and deserving a little more against CD Guadalajara. The southerners will face Talavera CF in the next match.
