The public returned to the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote on Sunday, witnessing their team's suffering and seeing UD Lanzarote add an important victory against UD Las Palmas “C” to avoid the relegation play-off of the Third Division. A match full of obstacles that the team led by Josu Uribe had to play, with another penalty against them and ending the match with nine players due to the expulsions of Oriol and Matheus.
The match began with the push of the locals, ending several of the actions with shots from the front of the area that did not find the three sticks. A push that was cut short in the 20th minute when the referee signaled a rigorous penalty and ended up expelling the full-back Oriol with a direct red card.
Pipo was in charge of executing the maximum penalty, Ruymán guessing the trajectory of the ball and stopping the low shot. The forces were balanced before the break, with the visitor Ojeda being sent off for committing a foul on Abdoulaye Ba when he was the last defender.

The five minutes that the referee added to the second half were endless and with the final whistle the joy was unleashed in the ranks of UD Lanzarote, achieving a victory that places them in the intermediate group, avoiding the play-off for relegation and fighting for promotion of category the long way.
