Jaba could have changed the script of the match that was filmed this Sunday at the Arrecife Sports City against Melilla if he had converted a penalty committed on Lanza in the first minute of the match, but the Basque inside player sent it to the clouds.

If he had been successful with the shot from eleven meters, the film would surely have had a different outcome, probably it would have ended up being a comedy and not a drama as it ended up becoming, because UD Lanzarote played a first half hour of cinema.

Lanza, who sent a direct free kick just wide, and Maciot, who picked up a cross from Jaba to which he could not imprint enough force to beat Balbuena, were making merits to win the Oscar for best actor, although this award ended up being taken by Iván Gómez, the rojillo goalkeeper, who was the savior of his team.

First by winning a one-on-one against Mauri, the second top scorer in the category. And above all with a great save from a close-range shot by Gottardi, which he caught on the very goal line.

The first half ended with a crossed shot from Jaba that made Balbuena fly, an action that took the Oscar for best photography.

In the second half, the match dropped many integers and neither of the two teams knew how to imprint the necessary speed to the game to surprise the safe defenses of both teams. UD Lanzarote tried it with a dead ball; first Checa, but his shot did not find the goal. And then Meca, who had just entered the field, although his header also went wide. UD Lanzarote lacked racord, continuity.

UD Melilla, for its part, responded with a clear header from Chota that he incomprehensibly shot wide when the goal was already being sung in the stands.

In the end, sharing of points with which UD Lanzarote adds its fifth consecutive match without knowing defeat.
