Third consecutive victory for Unión Sur Yaiza as visitors (1-3)

Unión Sur Yaiza once again achieved a victory away from home, finding themselves more comfortable away from the Municipal de Yaiza than at home. The counterattack and taking advantage of Ibarra's defensive errors were more than enough for Yaiza to add the three points that were at stake. Miguel Yunes made up for last week's penalty failure, and with two goals he led his team to victory. The victory was completed by Javi Melián in stoppage time with the third goal of the match.

The first part of the match was characterized by the good game developed by both teams on the field. It was Ibarra who asserted their home advantage and took control of the game in the first minutes of the match. Unión Sur Yaiza waited for the opponent and tried to counterattack.

In an unfortunate play for the local goalkeeper and a clever play by Miguel Yunes, the first goal of the match would arrive in the 21st minute. Goalkeeper Adrián put the ball on the ground to gain meters in the clearance, he did it with such bad luck that the ball hit Miguel Yunes' foot and ended up sneaking into the back of the net. Yunes showed his goalscoring instinct, being in the right place at the right time.

UD Ibarra looked for the equalizer before the break, having chances to do so. Marcos could have tied, with Doramas being in charge of deflecting the ball to a corner. And before the break, a strong shot from Ángel was stopped by Doramas, showing good reflexes. The first 45 minutes would end with the score at 0-1.

The second part of the match began with the goal that meant the equalizer for UD Ibarra. A long-range shot from Ángel surprised Doramas and ended up sneaking into the back of the net. In defense of the goalkeeper, the ball made a series of strange movements due to the wind, and ended up distracting the Yaiza goalkeeper.

UD Ibarra was not accurate in the final meters. Adán and Rubén had chances to tip the match in favor of the locals. Unión Sur Yaiza had to face the last 22 minutes of the match with one less player on the field. Robert saw the second yellow card of the match and left his team at a disadvantage.

Playing with one less player was not an impediment for Unión Sur Yaiza to take the three points that were at stake. In a new counterattack, Miguel Yunes once again sent the ball into the back of the net. A goal that caused Ibarra to launch into attack and leave spaces that would be exploited by Yaiza.

Practically in injury time, Javi Melián took advantage of a failure by the Ibarra defense to score the goal that sealed the match and allowed Yaiza to take the three points to Lanzarote. Unión Sur Yaiza adds its third consecutive victory away from home and consolidates its position in the noble zone of the standings. In the next match they host Atlético Victoria.
