Very serious match played by UD Lanzarote on Saturday afternoon at the Municipal de Los Olivos, work that served the team coached by Josu Uribe to conquer the three points that were at stake against Villa de Santa Brígida and get the second victory of the week. The rojillos were very well planted on the field, pressing the opponent's ball output, closing lines and not letting the locals get dangerously close to the goal defended by Alejandro.
The first minutes of the match were marked by equality, although it was Villa de Santa Brígida who gave the first warning. A ball served by Yeremi Valerón from the side was finished at the edge of the small area by Santi, and the shot went high. As the minutes went by, UD Lanzarote took over the game.
The visitors' response was not long in coming. A cross from Rodri from the back line was finished by Rosmen at the near post and the ball went high. The clearest chance for UD Lanzarote came close to the half hour mark, with a corner kick executed by Ayoze Pérez and Matheus' header was repelled by the crossbar.

The second half started in an unbeatable way for the interests of UD Lanzarote. In the 10th minute of the restart, Rosmen tried to finish off a cross from Giovanni at the far post and in the struggle with the defender he fell inside the area, with the referee pointing out the penalty. Rosmen himself was in charge of executing the penalty, beating goalkeeper David Ramírez.
Villa de Santa Brígida could have achieved the equalizer just five minutes later, when Arisay was left alone inside the area and could not beat goalkeeper Alejandro in the one-on-one. From that moment on, UD Lanzarote knew how to manage the match at will, having the ball away from their own area and having no problems defending against the timid attacks of the opponent.
With the 0-1 the match came to an end at the Municipal de Los Olivos, with UD Lanzarote achieving the second victory of the week and allowing them to continue climbing positions in the standings of the Las Palmas group of the Third Division. Next Wednesday the rojillo team recovers another of the postponed matches, receiving at the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote to UD Guía, from 17:00 hours.
