The sixth edition of the 'Quemao Class presented by Billabong' will take place on December 29, 30 and 31, in a unique spectacle that will bring together the best surfers and bodyboarders in the world in Lanzarote.

A total of 64 athletes, 32 surfers and 32 bodyboarders, are already on their way to the coastal town of La Santa, Tinajo, and will compete to engrave their name at the top and face the wave of Quemao, one of the most powerful and dangerous in Europe.

Athletes of the caliber of the French Joan Duru, Pier Louis Costes, and Benjamín Sanchiz, as well as the American Eithan Osborne, the Brazilian Ian Concenza or the Basque Aritz Aranduru will not be missing. In addition, there will also be Canarian representation with Luis Díaz from Gran Canaria, and the two from Lanzarote Cristian Portelli and Manuel Lezcano.

As in previous editions, and thanks to public and private entities, in this new edition the priority is the safety and well-being of both the athletes and the island of Lanzarote.
