After the announcement by CD Evesport of the cancellation of all the rallies they organized in Lanzarote and Gran Canaria, and the response from Lanzarote's motoring community with a meeting to try to make the races go ahead, the sporting event will return to the island on June 18, with the XLIII Haría Climb.

This was announced by the Inter-Island Automobile Federation of Las Palmas (FALP), which has delayed the opening of registrations for next week, specifically to Wednesday, May 25, but assures that this will not affect the scheduled date of celebration for June 18, as a scoring event for the Regional Mountain Championship and the Lanzarote Island Championship.

The Canary Islands Federation, at the request of the FALP, has authorized this change in the program of the climb, in order to "consolidate the celebration of the same with all guarantees."

From the FALP they indicate that they are still working on the management of motorsport in Lanzarote "for the realization of the entire planned calendar", asking for "the necessary tranquility to all drivers and co-drivers, while clarifying the situation generated by the cancellation of the past Rally Isla de los Volcanes".

The Las Palmas Federation assures that it will continue to support its athletes from Lanzarote and they will be able to continue practicing motorsport "normally", within their Island Championship in this 2022 season.
