A traffic accident that occurred in the early hours of this Wednesday, December 3rd, on the access road to Lanzarote airport left one person injured with injuries of unknown severity. A concrete mixer truck overturned near the main entrance of the airport, prompting the intervention of multiple emergency teams.
The driver of the vehicle, a man who suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and was disoriented after the rollover, was attended to at the scene by health services. Despite the severity of the impact, the rapid response of the Fire Department, Civil Guard, and health personnel made it possible to stabilize the injured man.
The affected person was transferred by ambulance to the Dr. José Molina Orosa Hospital in less serious condition, according to sources from the Emergency Services. The causes of the accident are still being investigated by the competent authorities
