The Castillo de San José hosted the XXIII Dinner Tribute to the Coach's Wife

The trophies of the last seasons were awarded, with Ezequiel Vieites being the most awarded coach, and the XVII Julián Medina Betancort Trophy, which went to José Antonio Reguera.

XXIII Dinner Tribute to the Coach's Wife (02-11-19)

The restaurant of the Castillo de San José hosted on Saturday night the XXIII edition of the Dinner Tribute to the Coach's Wife, organized by the Technical Committee of Football Coaches of Las Palmas and its Delegation in Lanzarote.

The event was attended by Antonio Suárez Santana, president of the Interinsular Football Federation of Las Palmas, José Antonio Valido Ramírez, island delegate of Football of Lanzarote, José León Hernández Vázquez, delegate of the Coaches Committee in Lanzarote, and Roy González, Councilor for Sports of the City Council of Arrecife. Each of them intervened to encourage the coaches to continue forward for the good of the sport, making themselves available to the coaches to help them in everything that was within their reach.

After the dinner, the trophies corresponding to the 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 seasons were awarded, with Ezequiel Vieites Sánchez being the most awarded coach.

In addition, as usual, the XVII Julián Medina Betancort Trophy was also awarded, which went to coach José Antonio Reguera Márquez in recognition of his extensive work in the training and improvement of the players. The award was presented by Julián Medina's daughters, Carmen Gloría and Marta Medina Cañada.

The organization on such a special night also surprised the organizers of the Uco Arrocha Seminar, on the occasion of the celebration of the XX edition of said seminar. With the raffles of gifts donated by various entities and the family photos, a day dedicated to the wives of the coaches was closed.
