Tinajo Youtrail has once again surprised local and international athletes, offering a test that merges sport, nature and unique landscapes. Los Dolores Square, once again, became the epicenter of the event, where emotional moments were experienced throughout the weekend. The great protagonists of this edition were Rudi Crespo and Verónica Suárez, winners of the queen modality of 33 km.

The hikers and the children's race kicked off, one more year, this event during the day on Friday. Hiking enthusiasts enjoyed every step, touring the spectacular landscapes that surround the town of Tinajo, while discovering the history, fauna and flora of the area. The little ones also had their moment of prominence in different tests adapted to each age group, in an event that once again promoted sport and created unforgettable family moments.

On Saturday morning, from very early, the best trail atmosphere was breathed in Mancha Blanca. The faces of nervousness mixed with smiles as the runners prepared for the start of the three race modalities.

At 08:30 hours the starting gun was fired for the 33 km modality, the most demanding test, where the highest level participants were found. In the men's category, Rudi Crespo took the victory, completing the course in a time of 2:57:44. In the women's category, Verónica Suárez conquered the first place with a total time of 3:34:08. The men's podium was completed by Fran Godoy, in second place, and Víctor González, in third. In the women's category, Marta Bazán and Judith de León occupied the second and third place, respectively.

At 10:30 hours, from Los Dolores Square, the participants of the 14 km modality were released, the most popular of the event, with about 200 trail runners willing to enjoy a unique route and experience. This test, in addition, was part of the Tinajo Popular Race Cup, which raised its competitive level. Rayco Hernández was the first to cross the finish line, completing the course in 55:25, followed by David Recco and Óscar Padrón. In the women's category, Audrey Bams took the victory with a time of 1:07:01, followed by Ildiko Csilla and Belinda Guillén.

Finally, the participants of the 8 km modality were released, a test that combined the presence of experienced runners and athletes looking for their first experience in the trail. The fastest to complete the course was Hugo Pérez, with a time of 33:44. Nauzet García obtained the second position, followed by Javier López, who was left with the third place. In the women's category, Andrea Sampayo took the victory, registering a time of 45:41, followed by Melisa Campuzano and Eva Alonso.

The mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, has congratulated for "the new success that the Tinajo Youtrail means, one more year, the Councilor for Sports, Vianney Rodríguez, all the technicians of the city council, volunteers, security and emergency forces as well as all those who have contributed, participating or accompanying, to fill Los Dolores Square again with this sporting event, appetizer full of color and joy to a spectacular week in which we are going to enjoy some great Festivals of Our Lady of Los Dolores", concludes the mayor.

The awards ceremony in Los Dolores Square, with the presence of the mayor, Jesús Machín, the Sports Councilor, Vianney Rodríguez, as well as the councilors Yurena Cubas and Macarena Olivero, was the finishing touch for this eighth edition of the Tinajo Youtrail.
