With the season concluded in group XII of the Third Federation, UD Lanzarote begins to work towards the next season. The rojillo club will no longer have the services of Juan Carlos Socorro as the top technical manager of the first team, with both parties agreeing to end the relationship that united them since last summer, when the coach took over the technical staff of UD Lanzarote.

It has not been an easy season for UD Lanzarote, having to play all the matches at the Municipal Pancho Bermúdez due to the improvement works that have not yet been completed at the Lanzarote Sports City. In addition, the squad has had to adapt to the continuous changes of training locations. It is not an excuse, but without a doubt all these conditions have affected the failure to achieve the objective that the club had set.

Juan Carlos Socorro concludes his relationship with UD Lanzarote after having managed the team for 34 official matches in the Third Federation, playing a round of the Copa del Rey against Real Racing Club de Santander and three matches in the José Antonio Ruiz Caballero Cup, reaching the quarter-finals of the competition.

UD Lanzarote wants to thank Juan Carlos Socorro for his professionalism and work throughout this 2024/2025 season, and wish him the best of luck in his sporting future. The club is already working on laying the foundations for the upcoming season, returning to compete in the Third Federation.
