This year, students from the La Oliva High School in Fuerteventura are also participating.
The triathlon will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the swimming competition in the waters of Puerto Calero. The end of the event and the subsequent awards ceremony are estimated to take place around 12:30 p.m. at the Yaiza Secondary School facilities.
As a result of this veteran sports competition, new talents have emerged for the triathlon of the Island and the Canary Islands, who currently participate in the Ironman of Lanzarote.
