The well-known sports commentators Cristóbal Soria and Alfredo Duro are participating this Friday, October 18 at 6:30 p.m. in a colloquium at the La Tegala sociocultural center in Haría, in the heart of the northern town square. The event will be free and admission is free until full capacity is reached.
The talk, moderated by the presenter of the Radio Lanzarote Sports Program, Domingo Travieso, will deal with current sports, youth academy, the future of Canarian soccer players, as well as issues related to sports communication, where the speakers are true experts, since they have been linked to elite clubs, as well as to the most followed media in Spain.
The talk is organized by the Cabildo de Lanzarote through the Insular Sports Service and is sponsored and collaborated by the Haría City Council, as well as the Lanzarote Media group.
Juan Monzón, Sports Councilor of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, commented that it is an incentive to have media personalities of national scope to present their knowledge to the public of Lanzarote. Likewise, the Mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, highlighted that it is extremely positive that this type of event is held in Haría and adds value to its municipality.
Professional careers: soccer, journalism and sports influencers
- Cristóbal Soria was field delegate of Sevilla FC, delegate of Real Club Recreativo de Huelva and is currently a prominent collaborator of the “Chiringuito de Jugones” that is broadcast on Mega. He is also a sports influencer, with millions of followers on the different social networks where he participates, such as Twitter (X) 1.1 million; Instagram: 1.3 million; Facebook 1 million; Tik Tok 1.1 million. Next Saturday, Soria will referee the “youtubers match”, which pits Spain against France at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid, organized by DjMaRiiO, which brings together the biggest sports influencers from both countries.
