Héctor Cabrera will be, until the end of the current season, the new coach of Haría CF in the Regional Preferente of Las Palmas. Cabrera is currently coaching CD Arrecife in the Primera Regional. He has also coached San Bartolomé CF and last season he was assistant coach with Pepe Corujo at CD Tinajo, his only experience in the Regional Preferente.
The board of Haría CF had to reach an agreement with CD Arrecife, in order to have the services of Héctor Cabrera until the end of the current season. An agreement that will allow CD Arrecife to have a new coach from this week. Carlos Javier Betancor will take charge of the training of the capital team, a coach who this season was coaching the children's team of Haría CF.
It has taken the directors of Haría CF two weeks to find a replacement for Enrique Pérez, the coach who was sacked due to poor results. During this time, Javier Toval, assistant coach, has been in charge of the team's training and has been in charge of sitting on the bench for two games.
Héctor Cabrera had his first contact with the Haría CF squad last Monday and will lead his first training session with the northern squad this Wednesday. Haría is currently in the penultimate position in the Regional Preferente de Las Palmas standings and is five points from the relegation zone.
