CD. Teguise falls back into the relegation zone after drawing (0-0) against SD. Laguna at the Los Molinos Stadium and Maspalomas' victory at Realejos' field. Despite everything, the result can be considered positive for the team led by Francisco Díaz, because the Tenerife team is one of the most powerful rivals in the category, as demonstrated by the fourth place it occupies in the table.
CD. Teguise and SD. Laguna shared the points in a match marked by the urgencies of both teams. In the case of the locals, they needed the points to move away from the relegation zone, while the Tenerife team is immersed in the fight to occupy one of the first four places in the table that give the right to play the promotion play-offs.

The match, despite not having goals, was very entertaining, with two teams committed on the field and with phases of quite good play. The Tenerife team showed greater ball handling, but the team from La Villa had eleven tough guys on the field who did not give up any ball and fought to exhaustion. The first chances of the match fell to the visiting team through an immeasurable Roberto, the best man on the field, who was in charge of bringing danger in the early stages to the goal defended by Igrail.
CD. Teguise, well positioned on the field, left the initiative of the game to the Tenerife team, but set up quick counterattacks that could have ended in a goal, such as the one starring Jonay in the 18th minute, who was not ready in the last meters.
Before the break, Marco for the locals with a weak header, and Eduardo for the visitors, with a shot from the front, could have unbalanced the scales, although the electronic scoreboard did not move.
In the second half, the Tenerife team jumped onto the field determined to take the three points, although the locals did not make things easy for them. In this sense, the approaches of the Chicharreros were always thwarted by the Teguise defense, very concentrated throughout the match. The visitors' goal could have come fifteen minutes before the end of the match, when Igrail saved his team with a great stretch to a shot by Oliver, and later Leo took the ball under the posts after the rejection that Roberto had taken.
Finally, and despite the fact that both teams tried until the final whistle, Teguise and Laguna had to settle for a draw, which causes the team from La Villa to fall back into the relegation zone.
At the end of the match, the local coach, Francisco Díaz "Cuco", valued the effort made by his players and described the point as positive, taking into account the potential of the Tenerife team. In any case, he set the goal of adding at least 21 points at the end of the first round.
