The season couldn't have started better for the interests of CB Puerto del Carmen in the Women's Silver Division of Honor. The 'tineras' won and convinced in the first match of the competition, wanting to demonstrate that this campaign has possibilities to do great things in the category. CB Puerto del Carmen won 39-17 against UC Dosa Balonmano, a result that clearly reflects the great difference that existed on the playing field of the Tías Municipal Pavilion.
The inaugural match of Group B of the Women's Silver Division of Honor of Handball only had history in the first ten minutes. Phase of the match in which the score was tied. It was Puerto del Carmen who began to mark the first differences and did so thanks to the work in the defensive line and the explosive speed of the attacking plays.
The players of UC Dosa Balonmano found it very difficult to overcome the defense of Puerto del Carmen. The 'tineras' stole balls from the visitors and did not hesitate to go on the attack based on speed. The UC Dosa players only scored six goals in the first half. At halftime, the score was 17-6. Eleven goals ahead, which allowed Puerto del Carmen to face the second half with a little more peace of mind.

The coach of CB Puerto del Carmen, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Santana, did not allow the players to relax in the second half and they continued to put a lot of speed into their game. UD Dosa, far from reducing the differences, saw how little by little Puerto del Carmen was increasing the income, exceeding twenty goals of advantage in the final stretch of the match.

In the next match, Puerto del Carmen visits Construcciones Basurto, a team that in the first match was defeated 23-20 against Logroño Sporting La Rioja.
